GNU Octave is a
high-level language for numerical computation with a syntax
very similar to Mathworks' Matlab.
Concurrent Modules for
Octave (CMO) is a framework for the implementation of modules
running in a parallel thread and which provides events and
callback handling capacity to Octave.
Octave GUI Module (OGM) is a project that will use CMO to
allow Octave users to create and use graphical user
interfaces for their programs, much like Mathworks' Matlab
does.
Status
OGM is to be started as soon as the debugging of CMO
finishes. A proof-of-concept prototype already
demonstrated the usability of the approach.
